 Who We Are

Renewable Energy Operators:

DC Power and Light Company (DCP&L) was established in 1978 in Tallahassee, Florida as a provider of small wind power systems.

 In 2004, DCP&L was re-established as a holding company to fund, develop and operate small solar and micro-hydro systems.  DCP&L presently operates a high altitude micro hydro and solar facility and is providing financing for a 150kW expansion for a New England-based Commercial  Small Hydropower facility.

CEO Bill Sepmeier has designed solar power systems used to power off-grid communications sites all over the planet, from central Asia to west Africa to the continental divide above 14,000'

Educational Programs:

Sepmeier is an accredited adjunct faculty member at Colorado Mountain College in Rifle, Colorado and teaches regularly under contract at Rutgers University and other institutions for Everblue Training Institute.
